N.A.S.A. – The Spirit Of Apollo [Review]

I love musicians that put a bunch of musicians on one track and have them spit straight fire over a killer beat. If you are like me, you probably never heard of a band that goes by the name N.A.S.A. (North America, South America). So if you fall into the category of those who have never heard of this dynamic duo, then get your notebook and pencil and get ready for some notes!

N.A.S.A. recently released an album in February, and seeing as it is their first album, not too many people have really heard of them. It is really hard describe what type of music they do, and I don’t think there is such a thing as Alternative Rap/Alternative Hip-Hop (or at least not tat I know of), but if I had to classify their album, it would be just that! They throw an interesting slew of musicians on their tracks, some really big names, and some people you probably have never heard of. Musicians like M.I.A., Kanye West, KRS-One, The Cool Kids, Ghostface Killah, Scarface, Method Man, E-40, Santogold, and Lykke Li have all seen the talent and skill level that N.A.S.A. possesses and because of this, they jumped on some tracks and participated in the album. I think that this is just the beginning of something big, and I would not be surprised that in five years from now, they are one of the more well known musical groups in the industry.
