Chapel X Al Aziz

Bio:

If Hip-Hop is dead, Chapel X AL Aziz presents new life. A Type of Hip-Hop that just has not been touched in a long time by most artist. The Music that includes a message. Chapel X AL Aziz [Formally known as Hornet or Future] presents Music of a Different Color, his first internet download mixtape.

The 19 year old Carolina raised MC started out rapping just to stay in the loop with his older brother and other family members who would rap at shows, win freestyle competitions and talent contests, Chapel was from there hooked on to the rap lifestyle. Since the start, Chapel has developed into a great lyrical MC. He’s versatile with flows and his concepts makes a fan think he can get on any track from a Taylor Swift song to a remix of a new Ice Cube Joint… Not a Lil-Wayne, but a Tupac Mind with a little bit of Kanye and Talib.

Due to his bad upbringing and early struggles and his chance to experience life in the “Burbs”, Chapel is able to go between the two realms of poor and rich. Chapel’s struggles are depicted in the anthem song feating Luth, “They Use to Call Me a Loser”, as he spits lines that brings you right into his world such as “Heard the phones call of my momma crying, cause these bills coming in and I know shes trying” and “Even when they would laugh and the bullies kick my ass know my future was bright so I Forgot about my past”. He then shows his party side with the club record, “Sin For a Minute”, which provides a dance record for anybody to get it on to. The message and the real lyrical ability comes with “I Fell Your Pain”, a song telling of three young ladies who are in abusive relationships and can’t get out, spitting lines like “But her life is a rollacoster, father’s a mad man, mother on the corner selling herself for food stamps“.

If the mixtape Music of a Different Color stands up to expectations or falls short, you will have to download it when it drops DEC.12, 2009 to see for yourself.

So you heard it from Chapel X himself, now go on down and listen to his singles so you can get hyped for the release on DECEMBER 12th. The download will be on TGLR exclusively, so save the date. Now ya heard it from the MANE himself.
