Bone Thugs-N-Harmony – Fixtape Volume 3: Special Delivery

by SoSickWitItYo on December 26, 2009

THEY’RE BACK!!!! B.T.N.H. has done it again, and this time, they are returning to the music scene with their Fixtape Volume 3: Special Delivery.  It has been a while since I got to listen to some new Thugs and Harmony, so when this was dropped off in my inbox, I went bonkers!  I downloaded it, slotted it into my iTunes, and after listening to the tape a total of five times in entirety throughout the day, I think it is safe to say the Thugs are back!  Anyway, we’ll break down the tap track by track (even though we don’t normally do that for mixtapes) and we will provide you with a download link below!  So let’s do it big, and gear ourselves up for Thug domination coming your way soon when they release Uni5: The World’s Enemy (Due out March 2nd, 2010).

The Break Down:

D.O.A. (New Arrangement):
This track leaked a while ago, and I have been bumping it in iTunes for a while, definitely a hot track, something to rock with whenever!

Smoke to This (Lil Ronnie):
Sick beat, they just bring that B.T.N.H. feel on this track, feel like they never stopped making music! Definitely a sick song, I don’t smoke, but if I did, I’d probably light one up to this song.

See Me Shine (Thin-C Siren Edit):
This song, like “D.O.A.” leaked a while back, and I am still rocking it! Check this bad boy out, and just vibe with it! It’s also the lead single for their upcoming March 2nd release when Uni5: The World’s Enemy will be hitting stores.

Against the World (Duanne DaRock):
An interesting song, still has that good old Bone Thugs sound to it, so if you are into music like that, then I would advise giving this one a listen! Don’t know if this track was 2Pac inspired at all, but it would be really neat if it was.

What Have We Done (HC da Chemist):
A slow song from the Harmony? Heck yea! Really dope track, they killed the beat on this one! A solid six and a half minute song, something I really liked listening to!

My Street Blues (DJ Uneek):
Well they got the blues on this one, and it’s really solid track, at this point in the tape, I am in my Bone Thugs zone, and I really just can’t get enough of the new Thuggish Ruggish sound they got going!

Nuff Respect (Scott Storch):
One of the most hated producers in the game (and someone I generally don’t listen to that often, but since it is Bone Thugs, I’ll give it some props), Scott Storch straight up killed this beat for the Thugs.

Roam in Ya Zone (1500):
THEY’RE GOIN IN!!! One of my favorite tracks on the tape, I’ll be rocking this one for a very, very, very long time!

Let Ya Self Go (Donte Carter):
Another track that leaked a while ago, so it wasn’t new for me! Anyway, this track goes hard, and from what I understand it will be appearing on the upcoming album!

No Mas (Unknown):
Like “Let Ya Self Go”, “No Mas” leaked a while back as well. Something that might be new for some of ya’ll, but for me, it’s just a dope track that i’ve been rocking for a while! Check it out, they go hard on this one!

Too Small (DSP):
Finally, a track that hasn’t leaked yet! Haha, this one is pretty sick and I definitely vibe with it because they incorporated the whole piano thing. Everything comes together on this one, the music and the lyrical scheme is SoSickWitItYo, a for sure check out in my opinion!!!

Wanna Ride (Duanne DaRock):
Hell yea I wanna ride with the Bone Thugs! A dream come true, haha. This song was mediocre, but I still liked it, I don’t think there is a track on the mixtape that I didn’t like.

Break Up to Make Up (Thin-C):
Solid song right here, leaked a while ago, so not too new, but still worth a listen!

Life’s Been Good (DSP):
Life has been good, nothing too complicated here, just a solid track that has a really solid feel to. Just can’t reiterate how they haven’t changed their style too much, which makes me very happy as a Thugs fan!

Celebration (Thin-C):
Let the celebration begin! Haha, now that B.T.N.H. is back together, we can all appreciate some amazing music coming our way March 2nd!

Overall, the mixtape gets an A to an A+.  It has been a long time since I had a full dose of B.T.N.H. and boy am I glad I was able to get it after the holiday festivities!  I decided to do some research on their upcoming album, and I have come up with a few things that you won’t find on any other hip-hop/rap sites out there, so I will post that up right below this paragraph, and under the news, you’ll be able to download the mixtape for free via MegaUpload.  The mixtape went hard and was just an incredible project from start to finish.  I personally liked every track on the tape, and it really had that original B.T.N.H. feel to it, which I was worried they would lose after not putting anything out for so long!
