Word on the street is that the third installment in Big Sean’s Finally Famous series is far from done. One of my friends recently conversed with Cannon and was told that Sean is not even done recording the mixtape yet. Looks like we have a ways to go before Finally Famous Vol. 3 will be dropping. The mixtape was supposed to drop today according to Cannon’s twitter. It was also rumored that the mixtape was supposedly dropping on August 14th. Yet here we are on August 24th with news that Big Sean is not even done recording for the mixtape. As a music fan, it is tough to watch musicians lie and those working on projects lie about release dates. It is hard enough to keep up with the changing release dates of albums… Now fans have to deal with mixtape release dates changing?
My biggest gripe about certain musicians is the way the interact with their fan base, and the way they interact with people in general. Personally, I am a huge Big Sean fan and I always will be. It is difficult for me to have respect for musicians when they are telling people their tape will drop and then they lie about it. Lucky for Mr. Sean he won’t be losing me as a fan, but I can tell you that a lot of people are upset that both Cannon and Sean are tweeting that the tape is dropping soon and then come release day, news is that the tape isn’t even finished being recorded.
